Socialization Rack Catalog #38399

The Socialization Rack system is constructed of stainless steel.

 

The rack is pairable both vertically and horizontally, and has two perches. Socialization panels are provided on each side for 2 phases of interaction. The cage door is on hinges, and can be fully opened, it contains an integrated horizontal sliding animal door. Metabolic pans can be used on both cages. There is a push handle at the rear of the rack. A removable food box, and foraging tray are provided.

 

The back wire panel of the cages allow more ambient light into the cage.

 

A single handed squeeze pull also acts as a perch. The squeeze is operated by pulling the perch, it glides smoothly and quietly on Tivar Hot Plastic.

 

There is an access door on the front of the cage for biscuit retrieval or specimen collection.

 

Waterlines are mounted on the side of the rack for easy access to test the lixits and drains.

 

All pairing components are completely self contained. The waste pan, upper floor, and lower ceiling telescopes to the rear for vertical pairing.

  • All sloping waste pans and troughs are fabricated of 16 Ga. SS sheet.

  • The caster base frame is fabricated of 1-1/2” square SS tube.

  • Waterlines to be plumbed in from the side of the rack and tested. (Add 4” x 4” Guards)

  • Single Handled Squeeze Back design on all future Units. (Lock Tab/Welds addressed)

  • A Larger “V” Bracket provided on Squeeze Back to help contain animals.

  • NO Metabolic Pans provided.  Latch mechanism on lower cage provided to secure the Pan when placed into position if needed later.  No Drainage Tube needed.

  • Improved Divider Latches with more clearance for engagement.

  • The wire mesh panels above the dividers in each side are 1” x 1” with .162 dia. SS wire.

  • Socialization Panels include Visual Dividers on the right and left of Unit.

  • Fixed Privacy Panels provided at rear of Divider Assemblies.

  • Extra drainage notch provided at front of Divider Assemblies.

  • New improved Pairing Mechanisms with Tethered SS Quick Release Pins.

  • All units are bead blasted to a matte finish.
