Specifications – Juvenile Racks:

 

  • Two-Over-Two Configuration that allows easy Horizontal and Vertical Pairing.

  • Overall dimensions of rack will be determined during design.

  • Each cage has minimum of 3 sq. ft. of floor area.

  • Interior height of each cage is a minimum of 36” tall. Accommodates Group 5 primates.

  • Rack is supported on SS Casters with 5” Dia. X 2” with blue UVP “K” wheels. Sealed bearings.

  • All metal components are #304 stainless steel.

  • SS Spring Loaded Latches provided & Heavy Duty Door Latch Mechanism provided.

  • Doors are constructed of ½” diameter rod with 1”x 3” .162 Dia. SS Welded Wire.

  • Fixed Front Cage Door with a Guillotine Animal Door is provided on each main cage door with single secure latch and pin.

  • Transfer Box Rods provided below all cage doors.

  • Cage Floor is 1” x 1” Grid Pattern.  16ga. (.060) Solid Side Panels.

  • ¾” Diameter Linear Tube Perches, Chow Chute with UHMW Foraging Board with drain holes.

  • The primary frame members are fabricated of 1” x 1” thick SS plate.

  • All cages sides are fabricated of 16 Ga. SS sheet metal.

  • Waste pans fabricated of 16 Ga. SS sheet.

  • The caster base frame is fabricated of 1-1/2” square SS tube.

  • Heavy Duty Automated Waterlines are plumbed in from the side with easy access to fittings.

  • Room for Heavy Duty Water Bottle Holder provided alongside Guillotine Door.

  • Double Handed Squeeze Back rides on Tivor Hot Plastic Bearing Blocks for smooth and quiet operation as does the latching angles through the squeeze latches.

  • Self-Storing Center Dividers for horizontal pairing are Solid, Wire and Transparent Dividers.

  • Self-storing Horizontal Dividers on ends of Rack to Pair with existing Racks. RH Divider is a Grooming Contact; LH Side is a Solid Divider.

  • Wall Lock Mechanisms provided to attach to room wall.

  • Additional brackets provided to hang enrichment devices.

  • Room for Tamper Resistant Water Bottle Holder to be attached.

  • Each Rack will securely attach to one another.

  • All units are bead blasted to a matte finish.

  • Unit provides ~9-1/2 square feet of floor space.  Can be custom sized.

  • Supported by (4) 5” SS Casters, identical to current casters. Sealed Bearings

  • Frame of Play Cage is 1-1/2” x 1-1/2” x 1/8” SS Formed Angle.

  • Wire Panel Walls are .162” dia. x 1” x 3” Slot openings, all Stainless.

  • Floor and Ceiling Panels are .162” dia. x 1” x 1” and 1” x 2” openings respectively, all stainless.

  • (1) Large Hinged Personnel Door is provided at front of Play Cage, Lockable.

  • Front Panel on Door is a 1” x 3” Wire Grid and Horizontal Rungs made of Tube.

  • Transfer Box Rods included under cage door. Chow Boxes provided.

  • Various Linear Perches included, strategically located for easy animal usage.

  • Waste Pans similar to current quad bottom pan, sloped slightly towards back.

  • Heavy Duty Water Line included made from ½” SS Schedule 40 Pipe, includes Edstrom fittings: Quick disconnect, Drain and (2) Drinking Valves.

  • Self-Storing or Removable Horizontal Pairing dividers provided on sides of Play Cage and will pair with existing  Socialization Racks already in service.  LH Side has a Solid Divider; RH has a Grooming Contact.

  • Various Lock Tabs provided for added security.

  • Bead Blasted to a Matte Finish.

  • Pairing Mechanism provided to pair with existing Quad Racks being used.

  • Climbing Pole with hardware included, spins on UHMW Plastic Bearing Blocks, is removable, Bead Blasted to a Matte Finish.
